Food what they can and can't eat!

Bearded dragons can be very fussy when it comes to food, its especially hard when there babies! 

They can eat a lot of things but on the other hand there is some food that they can't eat like, take avocado for example...Just to help out all of you new or experienced bearded dragon owners i've made a little list for you that you can (If you would like) print out! It really helps.

 Can-                                                                                                          

• Cucumber
• kale
• Asparagus (Raw)
• Bell peppers (Raw)
• Celery
• Lentils
• Pumpkins 
• Mustard greens
• Turnip greens
• Parsnips

Fruits-

• Blackberries
• Plumbs
• Melon
• grapefruit
• Cranberries
• Apples
• Grapes
• Apricot
• Cherry's 
• Pineapple
• Figs

There is MANY more fruits and veg that Bearded Dragons can eat but we would be here for a VERY long time! Make sure you don't give them ANY citrus food at all but they actually can eat kiwi and pineapple!

Can't

• Lettuce
• Beet tops
• Avocados
• Rhubarb
• Spinach

I know there are not many of the 'cants' but if you do your research you might find more for example they also can't eat firefly's but I'm not sure people would feed them firefly's anyway!

Rocky The Bearded Dragon!

An Introduction to Rocky!

Rocky loves cuddles with me and often sleeps on my head! He thinks glass is well...NOT glass and often try's to be a robber and break through it! 
He adores apple but its a struggle to get him to eat his Kale!!!

When we first got Rocky we were very happy
because we were expecting him to be very skittish
but he isn't he is very calm and just the sweetest 
Bearded dragon in the world! He usually just sleeps on
me and occasionally poos on me and it STINKS.

As cute as he is he can be annoying like the other night I was TRYING to feed him his Locusts and instead he decided to take a nibble from my finger! It didn't hurt though, he must of thought it was live food or something! He also hates his Kale which is VERY annoying because he can't eat Iceberg lettuce and kale is a main source of growing up for beardies!!! The thing that annoys me most is when he poops on me-POHIEE-It reeks and then it goes through my top and leaks onto me, that's another load of washing for my mum and ANOTHER shower for me!

On the other hand I love him SOOO much he is very funny and cute. I remember one day me and my mum went for a 40 minute walk and when we came back I got so freaked out because his skin was shedding EVERYWHERE it looked like a lions make to me! After that I gave him a warm(ish) bath and that helped the shedding come off.
